The Oversight Group has the job of approving updates to the stable version of the taxonomy following the project’s annual congress.
The Oversight Group contains representatives drawn from
- Lived experience communities
- Organizations whose job is to support those communities’ needs
- Charities
- Organizations that have already built systems or procedures based on the taxonomy
- Co-opted experts from other areas considered important
